Decluttering 101: Part 3

Today is the third day of this three part decluttering series! Have you put the previous tips into practice? How did it go? Feel free to hit reply to this email and tell me all about it, I love sharing in your successes!! If you missed the previous tips, you can read them here and here.

This last tip is more of a slower decluttering process but important nonetheless!

Tip number three:

Keep a bag or basket in each family member’s closet so that when they try something on that either no longer fits or they no longer love, instead of throwing it on the floor or putting it back on the hanger, they can toss it in the donate bag conveniently placed right next to their clothes! Easy peasy! To make sure those donated clothes actually make it to a donation center, schedule a day each month to take any clothes in the donate bags to a donation center.

I hope these tips help and make your life and home lighter! Feel free to repeat them as often as needed, I don’t think you can ever do too much decluttering 😉

Happy Organizing!
